this is pretty good prizing. i love the idea of alternate art cards with possible alternate foilings. i wish gencon’s prizing included this because i’d love to have the virtual frieza levels in card form. very good stuff. i just wish i lived closer; i’d only be able to make an east kai event (and of course, gencon).
I agree, I’d love to start seeing some awesome alternate art foilings as prizes. I’d enjoy this almost as much as old product to be honest.
Scott you’re going to have to hit up East Kai in Pennsylvania then. I’ll be posting the date soon.
Looks like I’m definitely coming to this, I’ll be putting the request in tonight. I’ll see you there guys!
This tournament is going to be huge. Im starting to get really excited.
Also make sure that you respond to the event on fb. Need to ensure there are enough space.
/sadface Moved away from the Beloit area within the last 2 years. Wish i had known one of my favorite games was still so popular there earlier.
Me and my friend Andrew Olexa have been in slight talks of making it, we would likely be down for the full weekend including UFS on Sunday. We play UFS as our main card game actually, Ton of fun, when you win you get to design cards in your likeness, Andrew has a few and as do I in the team format. We will keep posted on our talks.
We definitely need more people for UFS and if we can get more champ cards that’s always a plus.
I can definitely bring copies of Nailed It!!! If I come down. Andrew is very on the fence though and it is up to him to pass out his character card and Living With Determination. I can also bring our older Assets Worlderworld Comics and Warriors though they are set to rotate soon.
I’m fine with the old school approach to champ cards. If I remember Andrew is as well, if you beat them and you arnt a d bag they give you a character card. If not there are always trade binders
Thinking you were thinking of Staff cards, The staff of the game would release themselves and they would have crazy abilities, and you got to try to take them and their crazy character down and if you did they would give you a copy of their card usually signed. When it comes to champion cards it is all their discretion.
Herr, Gains, Hatta, Omar etc… played them and won they usually gave you a card or two. But like I said there is always a trade binder
Matt, what’s the word on you and Andrew coming down for the weekend ? Just trying to plan out stuff for Sunday as well. Thanks.
The more the merrier for both tournaments I say. Plus meeting some cardboard winners and trading for their cards doesn’t hurt either. 🙂
I might want to go as well, we will see
A quick update: I’ll have the top cut cards and the champ cards in hand a few eels before the event. Also we are trending to have 35 players, which almost double last years. Hope to see you there!!
