This is the last card for Tien, yet one of the most important. An ally you’ll want to use South Kai Sensei for on turn one.
Chiaotzu is easily one of the worst personalities in the game and in the show. In fact, he never beats a single named character in any of the series, save the non-cannon Guldo fight during the Frieza Saga. This is the character that apparently married a body pillow, making it a sovereign head of state in Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure. I personally hate this character and would’ve rather made his sex doll queen over him. In fact, I wanted to have this card be a Launch personality, but ultimately felt that Chiaotzu was the one who needed to be by Tien’s side.
So this card can kinda work as a Main Personality if you want, but works best as an ally for Tien. There’s no beating around the bush, this power was made for Tien’s Flight. We saw that as the cornerstone of the Tien deck, so we wanted to help that card out as much as we could. Making it focused was the no-brainer option, but we also allowed the block portion of the power to pump up Tien’s defense a bit, since he only has Tien’s Block and Tien’s Energy Defense for blocks (unless you want to clutter your deck with more non-Tien cards). Chiaotzu and the Cell Saga Blue Style Mastery are a really great combination for running minimal defensive cards.
That’s all for today. We’ll round out the week with some styled cards before revealing a new 1-3 for a fan favorite villain next week, as well as introducing two of his allies that never made it into the game (but had named cards for some reason).
Later, BroZ!
I think have it stop both and make the next attack focused is a bit much but overall I am fond of allies that can be used when you are not at zero (Bee, Chi-Chi, Android 14, Korin, etc)
nice card, tho I don’t really Tien needed more help. I would have like to see him do some thing else, like remove him from the game to make your next attack unstoppable kinda like him dieing in the the show and Tien getting pissed.
But the block is nice and makes it sorta useable for a Chiaotzu stack.
This Chiaotzu is actually playable as an MP to some extent.
The title of this article in addition to the cover picture (Chazzy and Guldo) made me LOL. Kudos.
Chiaotzu is my favorite character from the show. I’ll ignore the dissing and take this for a mad Chiaotzu deck fool!!
