The response to the Tapion personality set has been fantastic so far, and much greater than we possibly could have thought! We have heard about some balancing issues with Tapion and will address that as soon as we are able to get a better picture of what needs to be done, but the decklists we have received so far (both competitive and “just for fun” decks) has been awesome and all of us here really appreciate that enthusiasm. Garrett, Chippy and I are running on conflicting schedules at the moment, so we haven’t been able to devote as much time to the website in the last few weeks (gotta work those day jobs since both the site and tournament is costing us money rather than making it). Our schedules should allow us to resume streaming and more regular updates sometime next month.
So now that the website update is out of the way, we are officially done with the Sword archetype and for the next three previews we will be looking at something to give the Androids a little boost. It’s no secret that Garrett and I are big fans of the Androids. The problem is, there has never been a good Android 16 to use as an ally (nor a Cell Android ally for that matter…).
Finally, a reasonable choice for an Android 16 ally (and not too shabby in Hero ally either). Also provides a neat main personality level one if you want to give him a try. I always thought Android 16 had neat powers for an MP, he just never had a good niche to occupy.

He should have a lvl 2 like Chiaotzu, except it doesn’t work because his self-destruct device has been removed.
nice. interesting how both MPs so far have had very high PURs. I’m a big android fan as well, looking forward to see what’s next.
Wanted to give him some incentive to be an MP, though not necessarily an ally MP since he wan’t much of a joiner when it came to choosing sides. From here on out, all the personalities that we’ve made at level one so far have a PUR of 1-2.
